At Xaman Ek, you will find your accommodations are comfortable and inviting with a homey feel. Xaman Ek has 4 Two Bedroom Beachfront Luxury Suites and 2 Romantic Beachfront Cabanas. Our total of 6 rooms is set on 2 acres with 200' of beautiful beach and is owned & operated by long time San Pedro residents. The Owners Residence is incorporated into the Retreat. Pride of Ownership is apparent through out this lush North Ambergris Caye Retreat. The owners live on site year around and consider the entire Retreat as their home and strive to make you happy and comfortable as their personal guests.

Our open air lobby is always shady and enjoys soothing tropical breezes every afternoon. It is a very relaxing place to read or enjoy a cool drink and pleasant conversation in the traditions of old Belize and Island living. The cabanas have private beachfront verandas and are surrounded by flowering plants. The suites all open onto a 12' wide veranda that is equipped with fully operational hammocks and is decorated with flowering tropical plants.


Please feel free to wander the grounds and take pictures. We have a wide variety of exotic flowering plants as well as medicinal plants, herbs and trees. At Xaman Ek you know you are in a tropical paradise. Tropical birds including Osprey, Rosetta Spoonbill and flocks of parrots are frequently sighted with a large variety of birds of all sizes everywhere. Wireless internet is available free of charge to our Guests.

The Retreat also boasts a large detached recreational building that houses as a lounge area with DIRECTV, pool table, library, and games. It is open 24/7. This building also hosts Yoga classes and can be set up for meetings, conferences and receptions.

Our spotless oceanfront Deli/Bar is open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. We offer a healthy menu of light food appropriate our sunny climate.

Our Deli menu features waffles, fresh tropical fruit, fresh salads, sandwiches on homemade Creole Bread and fresh ceviche as well as our popular tamale plate.

Our Bar offers service in the lobby and around the pool for your convenience. Of course we also serve cold beer, wine & soft drinks and fresh fruit smoothies.

Our aesthetic menu features incredibly delicious views, scrumptious serenity and mouthwatering privacy that is hard to equal anywhere. Come experience our hospitality and enjoy some truly luscious breathing space.

Xaman Ek Retreat & Spa is located within walking distance of several restaurants and bars. You can enjoy authentic Belize cuisine as well as cosmopolitan menus and comfortable fully stocked bars. Nightlife in San Pedro is non-stop and is only a water taxi ride away. All of our Guests are met at the airport in San Pedro by our driver and taken to the boat for the 5 ½ mile trip to the retreat. The seas are almost always very, very calm, much more like a lake than an ocean because of the close proximity to the Belize Barrier Reef.


During your transfer to Xaman Ek, you may wish to do some grocery shopping before arriving at the Retreat 5 1/2 miles north of town. Our Guests usually want to stop at our local supermarkets to stock up at the Greenhouse for fruits and vegetables. Just let your driver know. There are no stores near the Retreat.

For your convenience we offer our guests a transportation package that includes round trip air fare (domestic) and unlimited use of Island Ferry for trips to and from San Pedro Town. Please ask when you contact us.

We also supply purified drinking water for our Guests at no additional charge.

We have next-day laundry service available for our Guests.

Guys, bring your fly rod, Permit and Bonefish and Jack abound in the shallow waters off our beach and pier. We have some light tackle to loan (no fly rods) or you can buy any gear you need in San Pedro Town.

All tours can be arranged through the front desk and depart from and return to our dock.

Beachfront Luxury Suites

We have, for your vacation pleasure, 4 huge (1400 s.f.) two-bedroom, beachfront, luxury suites complete with fully equipped kitchens, and colorful, comfy furnishings. The bedrooms are air-conditioned with ceiling fans. Ceiling fans and large windows with curtains highlight the ample living dining area. These suites open directly onto the beach and have incredible views. Hammocks are available on request.

Our kitchens have electric ranges with oven, full size refrigerator with freezer, toaster, microwave, coffeemaker and purified water dispenser. All kitchen utensils are provided. Hair dryers, alarm clocks and irons available on request.


Two of the suites have 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with queen beds in each bedroom as well as a futon in the living area. This suite has plenty of room to allow complete privacy for two couples.

The other two suites have two bedrooms and 1 bath. One bedroom has a queen bed and one bedroom has 2 singles as well as 2 day beds (singles) in the living area and a futon. This is a favorite for families.

This is the perfect romantic hideaway with tons of privacy and comfort.

All rates are in US dollars per night based on 4 occupants per suite.

Additional people over the ages of 10 will be charged $25 per night.

Please add a 9% room tax and 5% Service Charge.

We will be happy to reserve your round trip tickets between Belize International and San Pedro Airport. The cost is $109.80 USD each for the round trip payable upon arrival in Belize.

Payment Policy:

• Upon confirmation of your reservation, a 50% deposit will be charged.
• 45 days prior to arrival, the remaining balance will be charged.

Cancellation policy:

• If you cancel 60 days or more prior to arrival, your deposit will be refunded less a $50 fee per room.
• If you cancel 30 - 60 days prior - 50% is non-refundable.
• If you cancel less than 30 days prior - no refund.
